"THE ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY WAS STARTED BY YOUTH AND IS SETUP FOR THE YOUTH SPIRIT." - EMMANUEL BAILY

The St Vincent de Paul Society is passionate about working with young people in the area of social justice. Vinnies started with a small group of 20-year-old students nearly 200 years ago, and that legacy of youthfulness in the Society continues to this day. The Vinnies Youth Engagement Team in Victoria support and encourage young people in schools, universities and the Young Vinnies Conferences to be active in assisting people in need in their local communities.

We offer a range of programs and sessions in schools. We aim to support school communities in developing compassionate and socially-aware students and young adults.

Our core school programs like Mini Vinnies (Primary School) and College Conferences (Secondary School), provides students to put their social justice calling and faith into action in their local and wider community.

Our Young Vinnies Conferences who are between 18 – 35 years old run programs that support children and young people in their local area. Whether it’s a camp or a day out, our programs provide a safe, enjoyable and positive experience for all involved.
