Mini Vinnies is a program designed to empower primary school students in grades 3 to 6 to become advocates within their school, local, and wider community. Students do this by putting their social justice passion and faith into action. Mini Vinnies meet regularly to learn about social justice issues, develop leadership skills and engage with the wider St Vincent de Paul Society.

Mini Vinnies should offer a safe and structured environment for children to learn about disadvantage and social justice issues, in a caring and empathetic way.


Alongside regular meetings to discuss and raise awareness of social justice issues, Mini Vinnies can also run additional activities and fundraisers at their school. This can include but is not limited to:
